E3 is over. Things are getting back to normal besides the giant campaign that is
Shenmue 3 being one of the best performing video games ever so far.
Kickstarter now has pitch videos start playing immediately instead of clicking the play button. This is annoying for me because when browsing the Recently Launched area I'm often opening a few tabs and have to pause the videos.
Perception is just over its goal.
Charlotte's Dream is a point and click adventure game. The video audio is a touch too high. It runs for 59 days, the platforms weren't listed when it launched, it ends very early on a Friday in the last half of August and the project page itself isn't very tall. Still it looks like a lot of effort went into the game itself and there is the backstory that the game started development around 2 decades ago.
Final Breath is back on Kickstarter for a 4th time. They are not using the
old project account.
The Tower almost looked like an intentional joke campaign like
Game was.
Defect is a spaceship building game with an interesting premise of a captain builds a ship, has his crew mutiny because they want the ship and then the captain has to build a better ship to go after his former crew. The game is about intentionally integrating defects into a ship.
The developers of
Sunset announced their studio is
closing down due to low sales.
