I think that's very smart that you're trying to play the "long game" with Infinitap Games. I'm sure the temptation must be there for you all to push yourselves and damn near kill yourselves, but while that may help for NN, it'll surely hurt the team in the long-run.
The best bands, game design teams, film casts/crew, etc. seem to be those groups of people that can stick together over a long period of time. If you can make Infinitap an indie studio that is provides a quality of life for all of you, I bet it will pay-off very handsomely.
On a similarly related note, I was curious if you have any marketing strategies planned for NN at this stage. I think it might be kind of interesting if you can find some sort of way to let us forum posters help promote the game if we want. I'm not sure what form that would take, maybe closer to the game with one of the livestreams everyone can toss around ideas.

For sure, man I can't even imagine doing 80 hour work weeks, let alone longer! Well I guess if it was work I loved that would help a lot, but that still has to take its toll in the long run.
Do you work most days of the week, or do you have a day or two, like the weekends, where you just forbid yourself from even going near a computer?

On Retro/Grade, we had a TERRIBLE time finding the right people. We've had similar troubles on some consulting gigs. I think if you can find talented people, you want to hold on them FOREVER. I've kept Joe on from Retro/Grade through some consulting gigs and now on Neverending Nightmares.
I would gladly accept all help promoting the game! I don't have any brilliant ideas for that, but I gladly welcome all ideas.
I *try* to not work and even look at emails on the weekends. Sometimes I fail though if someone else is working or if my wife is busy or the gravity of my computer pulls me in. hahah

I can't imagine how you found time for dating working those kind of hours. I mean literally, I don't see how that's possible. But I guess it worked out in the end.

Re: 110 - Crunching
Well, when I started dating my wife, I was working about 60 hours a week. We were already pretty serious when I went back up to 80 (and then 100), so we made it work. In hindsight, it was a terrible mistake though. I wish I would have spent more time with my (now) wife! I still feel like I am catching up on lost time when we spend time together.
