I'm personally a huge fan of the N64 era of gaming, so I'm really rooting for Lobodestroyo.

When I bought Ouya, this was the kind of game I hoped eventually to be playing someday :).

Also, I'm a huge Mega Man/Metroidvania fan, so I'm excited by Project Sen, though I doubt it's going to make it :(.

Finally, Read-Only Memories has lost some momentum. I hope it picks back up, as this game looks freaking sweet. It's a Snatcher inspired 90's adventure style game.

Honestly, I really hope Lobodestroyo makes it :).

I'm also rooting for Lobodestroyo, but it doesn't seem like it's going to make it. I think it's a bad time to run a kickstarter with Thanksgiving and all the new games (and consoles). I know I've been checking kickstarter a lot less lately... I'd love to be proved wrong though. :)

It's at 21k! Perhaps it might pull out after all...

Dyscourse made it with $44,134 (110%). It had a social media surge when it needed it. That December 4th boost was enough to get it funded even with not much time to work with on the final day of the campaign.

Sewer Rats launched yesterday. I like the 1930s aesthetic to the 3D models. It has only 3 backers so far. I see some potential in it.

I am really pleased that Dyscourse got funded! (Thanks for e-mailing Owlchemy by the way!)

Sewer Rats seems really cool although I expect ending on December 30th is going to be a challenge. I don't know about everyone else, but I probably won't be checking kickstarter much in late December...

I'm glad to see Lobodestroyo picking up steam. They recently announced a unique cross-promotion with Super World Karts GP, which is a modern take on 16 bit kart racers like Super Mario Kart. If you pledge to both games, you can unlock Mutt from Lobodestroyo as a playable character in Super World Karts GP.

Novus AEterno has relaunched its sci-fi MMO RTS project. There are some elements of this campaign's project page that I really like. It has shown a lot of improvement since the first campaign.

New Orbit is a spaceship game with a 3D cockpit and a ship construction system.

War of Omens is a digital CCG that is inspired by deck-building games like Dominion. I helped go over the project page of this project before it launched.

Consider yourself proved wrong Matt. :)

Ranger, I'm really hoping Super World Karts gets funded as well. I loved Mario Kart on SNES. I still recall to this day my friends obsession with battle mode. We had a whole immature naming scheme for your "gender" based on how many balls you had remaining in battle mode.

3: Alien
2: Boy
1: Michael Jackson (come on, we're talking about 7 year old boys!)
0: Girl (See above)

It's got 8 days left and scraping past 33%. Hopefully it funds!

I was proven wrong, and I'm happy about that! They had a pretty high pledge per person ($47), so I suspect the 929 backers really wanted the game. :) One of the amazing things about kickstarter is when the longshots come through. I think Neverending Nightmares was like that. :)

That is a really funny naming scheme for battle mode. I also played countless hours of battle mode, but we weren't as clever and didn't come up with any names for the number of balloons.

Most of Lobodestroyo's backers came in near the end of the campaign. I saw a really big Reddit push for that campaign with the project link showing up a lot when I did my daily Reddit search for links to Kickstarter campaigns. There was a relatively large surge on the last 3 days.

A 3rd-person survival horror game launched called Long Night only has 34 backers so far and it has been live since December 11th. Instead of describing it, I'll just say go watch the pitch video or try the demo. I did notice it is in Canadian dollars, but the studio is based in France.

Project Nimbus is a mecha combat game that has a presentation and style that captures some of what people love about the genre. I also like some of the small touches like the significance of a red painted unit with a horn. The rewards structure is a bit strange with a range of just £1 to £25.

Fight The Dragon is a hack and slash with a dungeon constructing feature.
