About the film I'm gonna watch for Halloween, since my sister want to spend halloween on my house, I should make her watch some films but I can't decide what films we're gonna watch. Please can you give me some advices?

Well you could always go with the classics i.e. "Of The Dead" trilogy, The Thing (Personal favourite of mine), Evil Dead etc.
Or you could go with more goofy/comedic stuff too like Braindead, Planet Terror or Shaun of the Dead!

This may sound lame, but the first time I watched 6th sense, I loved it. If you have not seen it....

Well, I just mentioned Big Trouble in Little China in the other thread, so that'll be my contribution. Silly and cheesy, action-packed and a wee bit of supernatural stuff. Seems fitting for Halloween?

I think we're gonna watch:
-the Texas chainsaw massacre (since I love chainsaw in film and games)
-Saw 2
-Rec (Halloween without a zombie film isn't Halloween)
-Ju-on (1 and maybe the 2)
-The room 1408 (I love this film)
-Friday the 13th
-the thing
thanks for the advices

Those are some good choices! Which Texas Chainsaw Massacre? The original or the remake? I think this is one of the few cases where I actually liked the remake better.
Also, if you want to see an amazingly terrible movie, see Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4: The Next Generation. For a while, I was trying to see all the worst movies ever, and that is pretty much the top of my list.

1408 is great, although it gets weird towards the ending. I wish they'd stuck with the atmosphere from the beginning.
Another movie that was mentioned in a different thread was Event Horizon. If you like SciFi horror, that might be quite... effective.

@Matt: we're gonna watch the remake. thank you for the tip if I find this film, I'll buy it.
@gagaplex: yes me too. I don't really like Scifi horror but I'll try
