I would love to wield the community like a light saber.
I'm not quite sure how to do that. haha
I am glad to hear that you want us to keep making horror games. I also want that
We'll have to keep our fingers crossed for the success of Neverending Nightmares, but the game is only going to get better, so hopefully we have something special. I can't wait to release the new build. We have some really awesome stuff done. I was playing the PAX build, and I was pretty impressed with how many little things we've polished in the game besides just the new level.
PewDiePie commands a huge audience. I don't think he helped the kickstarter as much as one would think though. There were a ton of comments that amounted to "why don't you play through the full game?" so it seems like some people missed that they needed to back the game to make it happen. I suspect a large portion of his audience is younger and mostly watch because he's funny and aren't big into backing kickstarters.
However, having a completed game that people can go out and buy when he does a video would probably be a huge benefit because they can get something that actually exists rather than the promise of something cool. I will definitely be trying to get PewDiePie to do a playthrough when the game is basically finished. It is going to be a challenge to get his attention since he's an internet rock star, but we managed to get through to him for the kickstarter and he seemed to dig it, so I am hopeful that we can get a full playthrough. Maybe we'll have to all tweet at him when I have a build that would be good to show off.
Anyway, I really appreciate your support! It's amazing to have such a dedicated community!
