Re: 156 - 0.5 Features *Spoilers*
So, I dunno whether you got through my 2 hour video yet or not, but in it I manage to see the girl monster disappear while visible within the circle of light. I was just wondering whether you mind that being possible or not - in the video I explain why I didn't mind if she's ghostly.
Re: 156 - 0.5 Features *Spoilers*
I haven't watched all of it yet. I'm actually watching it right now!
I don't mind that she disappears in the circle of light because I imagine that won't happen too frequently. Detecting it would be a pain, and her disappearing logic is pretty complicated, so it didn't seem worthwhile.
If you don't think it's a bug, then I'm fine leaving it. I have my hands full with the next nightmare we are building out. We are trying to create variety, which always requires a bunch of prototyping and experimentation.
Also, as you correctly assumed in the video, fixing the sizes of the doors would be challenging because we have a really faked perspective. The perspective has been a thorn in our side. I'm not sure if there is a good solution other than to do full 3D or straight isometric.
We also did change the track for "Lost Child" after our original release to make it even creepier.
