Dream Continuance

Nightmares nearly always happen mid-sleep and being so tried, I have to go back to sleep only to continue the dream over and over again. I think it is because the dream was so intense that my mind could not stop thinking about it.

I suppose everyone has this problem.

I often have dreams in the morning when I am sleeping lightly - or at least those are the ones I remember. I do sometimes wake up and resume the dream later. It never happens when I have a really good dream though although I don't think I've had one in years... I pretty much exclusively have anxious dreams these days. They aren't really nightmares but aren't enjoyable...
