Harmonix to release rhythm based FPS

Since I know a lot of us here are Retro/Grade fans, I thought I'd share this snippet. I know Matt has mentioned he can't enjoy rhythm games, but this seems like it might be a mix of Retro/Grade, Soul Fjord and TF2.

This definitely sounds interesting although honestly, F2P is a big turn off for anything. The trailer reminded me of DubWars for Ouya, which I really enjoy and fortunately isn't a proper rhythm game, so I was able to play it.

I think it's coming to PC at some point too: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =150402725

Yeah, F2P is so shady. Just let me pay you for your damn game!

I really enjoyed Plants vs Zombies, which I happily paid $5 for. When I tried PvZ 2, I wanted to cry when I saw how they monetized with F2P. It was atrocious.

It's funny because people defended PvZ2's F2P implementation, but my wife LOVED 1 and barely played 2. I think 1 had a nice casual difficulty, and they turned 2 into a grind to necessitate the microtransactions. While I'm sure there are good microtransaction games (Valve's cosmetic hat selling), they usually don't interest me.
