yay for getting sidetracked..LOL

i wouldn't call the art style "watercolor" but really "Pen and ink wash". That's essentially what it is, a pseudo india ink piece using line and wash to create the look you have.

I think it is good to get that distinct stand out look, for sure. I don't mind pixelart but i will say it is wearing thin on me when i see every other title trying it and the style is oddly very similar. going RETRO and shooting for a look for NES or SNES is fine, shooting for the straight up pixel art style that reminds me of zoomed in c64 characters.. not really for me.

so i will say i like your style better than pixelart most dev's around gravitating towards.
