Rhythm? Shooter?

Post by Simna ibn Sind »

I've looked all over online and I can't find any info on this, so here I am asking.

I noticed on the scoreboards that most of the players are listed with "Shooter" next to their scores, but for some players it says "Rhythm."

What does this mean and how do switch between these game modes?

This is a bit of a hold over from the PS3 version. For PS3, we had two control schemes - the guitar, which used the colored fret buttons to move between lanes and the shooter, where you press up and down to change lanes. For PC, we support both control schemes, and you can switch them in the options under control I believe. There is a thing that says "Type" and you can toggle it between shooter and rhythm. The rhythm controls default to 1-5 to change lanes.

Does that answer your question?
