Re: More Color to Cell Doors in the Asylum Level?

I like it, especially the upper one with the more pronounced rust spots. Heck, one might even confuse parts of it for a blood smear, which is not the worst that can happen in a game like this. :)

Re: 0.4 New enemy discussion [SPOILERS]

Varying her speed is a bit of a challenge because we'd probably want a new animation... I'm not so sure. :D Thinking of movies like "The Ring" here where the monster moves unnaturally fast at times. Perhaps you have a vision of her that's fixed in that regard, but I could imagine her look...

Re: NN in The Escapist's Top-5 of E3 2014

Ah, I was curious whether she got an interview or something or what that reference to "something later in the week" was about. So I guess we can expect that write-up, yeah.

Heh, do you by chance remember what scene made her scream out loud?

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/video-games/conferences/e32014/11738-Sarahs-Five-Favorites-of-E3-2014 Just thought you'd like to see this, it's just a small paragraph, but still. I found this game tucked away in the corner of the IndieCade booth, and it's the only Ouya game I played at...

Re: 150 - The Horror of Death

If people find the times with enemies less scary than the atmospheric ones before and after, then obviously you should mess with our heads and combine the two sometimes... have us chased by a monster and have horrible things happen in front of us as the monster closes in behind? Dunno. :-D

Re: Alpha 0.4 discussion [SPOILERS]

It might be worth comparing a video of his speed walking if you play up to the level and if you load the level from the menu... Maybe it is some cumulative thing? I've played a lot of Neverending Nightmares, but I've never noticed it... Weird! Could Fraps have anything to do with it? Dunno, I'd gue...

Re: 0.4 New enemy discussion [SPOILERS]

You could actually push the disappearing angle (reinforcing your notion of her being a ghost) by having her vanish and reappear every couple of seconds even while onscreen . If possible, make her not disappear but turn her invisible for a short moment, meaning that she'll "keep coming" tow...

Re: 0.4 New enemy discussion [SPOILERS]

The second problem is that once you run far enough away from her, thus making her despawn, there's no real indication or incentive to push the player going back the way they came. That's a good point. There should be some kind of indication she's gone. I guess you could make her give a "scream...

Re: 149 - The Future of Input

I know they're not made to be used like that, but could you actually, I dunno, put in the DJ table and spin it to control another game? A lot of the old special controllers would basically just be other ways of pushing the same buttons, so hypothetically it should be possible, as awful an experience...
