Re: Achievements in NN?
It blew my mind last night when I played Stanley Parable for the first time and saw there was an achievement for not playing the game for 5 years.
Indie3?
Guys, I was procrastinating from my job because my boss is on vacation and I'm working remotely from home  and I saw on Twitter that some indie devs are offended that Polygon said this:
E3 is loud, expensive, sexist and violent: It's also the only place to be next week http://sbn.to/1hBHeuX ...

Do you watch "Community" Matt? LeVar makes an awesome cameo on it.
I'm excited about Perseus 230, a spiritual successor to Star Fox (one of the greatest shooters of all time, save Retro/Grade)

Re: Difficulty Options
Fair enough. I can totally see your point. I forgot that most of the "difficulty" corrections really are more about game balance than challenge.
Dynamic difficulty sounds awesome! I just hope the game never tells me it's becoming easier for me. That always makes me feel sad.

Difficulty Options
Matt,
Upon reflection, there have been several parts of the game in the alphas that you have been told are too difficult. I just had the idea, perhaps you could keep these difficult sections in your back pocket, and once a single run-through has been completed, give the player the option to turn on ...

Re: Favorite Horror Moments in Non-Scary Game
- You've really sold me on spec ops: the line. I really want to play it now after you've mentioned it so much.

Just a curiosity, do you think future computers will enhance or hinder NN? I don't know anything about graphics, so I'm just curious.matt wrote:I guess that may not be a fair comparison because I don't think the developers were planning on making the game look great on future computers. hahah

Favorite Horror Moments in Non-Scary Game
What's everyone's favorite horrific moment in a game that's not overall a frightening game?
The best example I can think of right now is Ravenholm from Half-Life 2. That section really nailed it on frightening!
What are some more good examples?

Out of boredom, I started playing RE1 on Ouya this weekend. Damn, that game is so hard. You really need to master that knife, because there are hallways SO narrow that you literally cannot run, and there is not enough ammo to kill all the zombies you find yourself in this situation with.
