Re: Far Cry 2

It's not surprising that you find both plots to be similar, as both are heavily inspired by Conrad's Heart of Darkness (which Matt referenced in his Spec Ops Dev Diary). It's a short read (I finished it after about two weeks of reading it exclusively on the treadmill), and it's on Project Gutenberg ...

The dream felt like Whistleblower but using the art style of Neverending Nightmares (probably because I played Whistleblower and s...

I actually found Matt's review last night and ended up buying it while it was a Flash Deal. I'm excited to play it now!

Re: Steam Summer Sales: What have you bought?

Re: Favorite Horror Moments in Non-Scary Game

Bioshock 2 is ok. I think it depends on what you get out of the game. I didn't like the plot of Bioshock 2 as much because I felt like it really was too closely trying to follow the econo-political themes of Bioshock. Bioshock 2's undertone is a Socialist revolution in Rapture in response to the Ana...

Re: E3 Thoughts This Year?

I'll take a stab at summarizing for fun SUPER DUPER SPOILERS AHEAD: In my opinion, MGS 2 is essentially about the control of knowledge. It's been a few years since I played it (probably 11 or 12 to be honest, but it really stuck with me), but essentially the game follows up the big question of MGS 1...

Re: 0.4 New enemy discussion [SPOILERS]

People will either get it, or have no idea how they got rid of her but just be glad she's gone.

She really is a creepy little thing.
